Yakiniku Yokocho Burwood

Excellent spot for jbbq that is local to us. The meat is fresh and love that we can get small portions so we can have a variety of different meats. The wasabi dipping sauce paired with the wasabi beef is amazing! A must get. Also love that it's a charcoal grill - the meat just tastes better with charcoal. Staff are friendly and service is lovely.

I've been here many times and I can't help but praise this Japanese bbq restaurant. The Wagyu beef is incredibly fresh and delicious, the charcoal grilling is wonderfully fragrant, and the ventilation is excellent, with absolutely no oily smell. The lunch set menu is great value, and the Okinawa beer is fantastic.

Amazing quality meat, it's incredible the staff are very friendly, food served very quick. Well decorated restaurant gives a bit of Japan vibe. Definitely going back.

Visited this place due to a foodie recommendation, place gives off good vibes, and service was immediately incentive to greet us. Ordering process is straight forward on the tablet given, sauces and cold water was given straight away when we got seated. Think the prices for vegetables and sides is a bit pricey but the quality is there.

Fantastic dining experience with lovely staff. The food was excellent, and was served to us quickly. The atmosphere and furnishings were a great touch to our experience. In terms of price, it is fairly good value for the quality of the food. We will be coming back to try more.

Great variety of sides and meats here. Ordering is through an IPad which is very easy and convenient. Great cuts of meat. Their store is very big and spacious as well which makes for a more comfortable eating experience
